Week 4 Review

First of all, I would like to thank the RedZone channel for allowing me to be able to review all of these game. Still might be my favorite channel ever.

Mike picks: Den, bal, cin, gb, no, atl, sea, nyj, ind, hou, az, phi, chi, ne.
Joe picks: Ten, Balt, Cle, det, NO, atl, StL, NYJ, IND, hou, SD, phi, chi, NE

At Tennessee -6.5 Denver
Den 26 Ten 20 - Kyle Orton has passed for the 2nd most yards in NFL history through the first 4 games. Only behind Kurt Warner. I don't know what happened here but I guess that stat means I need to start picking Denver. (Mike)

At Pittsburgh -2.5 Baltimore
Bal 17 Pit 14 - Only way this game could have been better is if they both would have lost. And more guys got injured. Say Hello to Big Ben in 2 weeks Browns. (Both)

Cincinnati -2 At Cleveland
Cle 23 Cin 20 - Of course the Browns won. Was there ever any doubt??? Yes, I had doubt but somehow, someway they pulled this one out. Oh, and I am beginning to love TJ Ward. And Mike you suck for picking against the Browns. (Joe)

At Green Bay -14.5 Detroit
GB 28 Det 26 - Detroit is friskily close to being good this year. It's kinda freaking me out. The Lions scored 4 FGs in the 2nd half, if they knew how to finish a drive they may have pulled the upset. Then again, if Shaun Hill is your QB you should be happy to be close. (Joe)

At New Orleans -12.5 Carolina
NO 16 Car 14 - No idea how this happened. Is Carolina's D actually good?? What's up with NO?? Can they please start throwing to Colston since Mike and I both own him in a fantasy league?? Too many questions, I'm starting to lose a little faith in the Saints this season. (Neither)

At Atlanta -7 San Francisco
Atl 16 SF 14 - So two wrongs do make a right for Atlanta. First a terrible, awful interception from Matt Ryan, followed by an even worse decision by Nate Clements to try to return the INT when if he touches the ground SF wins, leading to a great never-give-up play by Roddy White, only to be topped by Matt Ryan leading them back down the field to the game winning FG. Dang, I'm losing lots of faith in SF. (Neither)

Seattle -2 At St. Louis
StL 20 Sea 3 - Not too sure how StL is doing it but they are winning games. We need to put some money on them to win the division. They are still 9-1 odds. I don't know what that means but I think they are going to win this historically bad division. (Joe)

NY Jets -5.5 At Buffalo
NYJ 38 Buf 14 - Buffalo is the worst team in the NFL. Jets are pretty good. I still hate the Jets. (Both)

Indianapolis -7 At Jacksonville
Jax 31 Ind 28 - First Jacksonville leaves too much time for Manning, then he is too good and leaves too much time for Garrard. Actually, all that time was still left because of Caldwell calling a TO after a short gain for Jax. I realize you want to give Manning the ball back but COME'ON MAN!!!! (Neither)

Houston -3.5 At Oakland
Hou 31 Oak 24 - Not too much to say about this one. Andre Johnson was out so I really didn't care to much about it. (Both)

At San Diego -9.5 Arizona
SD 41 Ari 10 - And another DA era has come to an abrupt end. Thank God. Apparently the film department has been shut down for the Cards to think that DA was going to be good. Just terrible. Poor Fitzgerald. (Joe)

At Philadelphia -5 Washington
Was 17 Phi 12 - Maybe Kolb isn't so good. I really hated to see Vick get injured, like he has ever hurt anyone. (Neither)

At NY Giants -3.5 Chicago
NYG 17 Chi 3 - I think I had a sack on Cutler in the 1st half. That was embarrassing. So embarrassing I didn't watch the game. (Neither)

New England -1 At Miami
NE 41 Mia 14 - So much for Miami taking that big step forward. NE became the first team in NFL history to have a rush TD, pass TD, KO return TD, INT TD, and a block kick TD. Usually you will win if you get that combo.

There you have it 4 weeks in the books. I'm starting to pull away. Time to pick it up Michael.

Week 1 - Joe 9-6-1 MM 8-7-1
Week 2 - Joe 9-7 MM 6-10
Week 3 - Joe 8-8 MM 9-7
Week 4 - Joe 8-6 MM 5-9

Total (Thru Week 4)
Joe 34-27-1
MM 28-33-1
